Through a partnership with the Farmington Elks, we help to provide Christmas gifts to children in need within the Franklin County area of Maine. Our donations first focus on keeping children warm and helping to encourage reading. The majority of our donations include: blankets, hats, scarves & gloves and books. When money allows we add in: outdoor gear, toiletries and toys.
Believing that education is so important to the future, we currently support two 2nd grade classes in the Franklin County Maine. Every month, each child can pick out a book to have as their own. In addition to the bookclub, we provide backpacks and Christmas gifts to the students.
Nashville is a thriving and expanding community; however, not all of its residents are prospering. Like many cities, Nashville has a large homeless population. We help to provide hats, gloves and scarves to this community at Christmas when the weather is most severe .
